Located 1.5 km off Vansda-Waghai road near Waghai on the banks of the river Ambika, Kilad Eco-tourism Centre is a part of Vansda National Park. With comfortable log huts and tree huts, the camp site is an ideal location for nature camps. The site, having an all season access, is a home to riverine woodlands and aquatic eco-systems and is administered by the Forest Department.

The Campsite has a Solar Electricity supply; hence the tourists are requested to use the electricity only when and where it is required. Food is available with the help of ETC (Eco Tourism Committee). One can also have a night trail accompanied with a guide.

Padamdungari Eco Campsite

Day-1

Padamdungari is a campsite located at about 30 km from Vyara town, and 8 km from Unai village. It is situated amongst the Sahyadri ranges, by the river Ambica. Treks, trails, winding up and down the hillocks, sunset activity, observation towers, relaxing woodlands, and medicinal groves are proposed attractions when you visit Padamdungari. The scenic site has deep, dense, multi-storied forests, genetic diversity, rocky, undulating, & enriched landscapes. The fauna consists of big cats, lesser canines, herbivores, birds, reptiles, aquatic animals.

The campsite consists of Tourist huts, a Reception cum interpretation centre, other Facilities / utilities, nature trails, good approach roads and capacity buildings for local people. A visit to nearby religious places like Chand-surya, Unai Hot Springs & Ghusmaai temples, Waghai botanical gardens, timber workshop, Vansda National Park & Shabri Dham is also possible. Activities like tubing, rafting, floating etc. on river Ambika can also be planned.

WAY TO AHMEDABAD TO VYARA 

२१-१०-२०१४ सुबह ३ बजे अहमदाबाद से प्रस्थान किया डांग की और जहा कुदरत ने अपने निराले रंगो को चारो और बिखेरा है और इसे अपने में समाये बैठा है डांग जो दक्षिण गुजरात में स्थिति सह्याद्रि गिरिमाला से घिरा हुआ नदी पर्वत और जंगल से आच्छादित प्रदेश है.

व्यारा से पदमडुंगरी , वघाई , किलाद  , गिरा फॉल , सापुतारा गिरिमथक , पम्पा सरोवर, शबरीधाम , महाल फारेस्ट, सोनगढ़ फोर्ट , डॉन गिरिमथक वगेरा करीबन १०० से १२५ किलोमीटर की दुरी पर है.

हमारा पहला पड़ाव व्यारा था जहा से हमें जंगल की शैर करनी थी. डांग में गुजरात सरकार ने ४ केम्प साइट डेवलप की है जहा नदी के किनारे टेंट, कॉटेजिस और ट्री हाउस बनाये है जो की जंगल में स्थित है।  हम व्यारा पहुंचे तबतक हमें केम्प साइट की परमिसन नहीं मिली थी लेकिन व्यारा पहुँच ने के बाद काफी मसक्कत की और आखिर हमे किलाद केम्प साइट पे टेंट मिले.हम सुबह के १० बजे व्यारा पहुंचे थे और ११.३० को हमने व्यारा से प्रस्थान कर दिया क्यूंकि सभी को केम्प साइट पहुँचने की जल्दी थी जाहिर है कोंक्रीट के जंगल से बच के नदी पहाड़ और जंगल की चले जो आये थे।  व्यारा से किलाद केम्प साइट के रास्ते ही पदम डुंगरी है जहा से कुदरत का करिश्मा सुरु होता है जो व्यारा से ३० किलोमीटर की दुरी पे है और वह भी गुजरात सरकार ने केम्प साइट बनाई है तो चलो चलते है पदम डुंगरी
